What is a Tungsten heat shield?
The tungsten/Wolfram heat shield is to keep the temperature inside of the tungsten crucible and prevent outside people from being hurt. The tungsten heat shield is made of tungsten sheet with a purity of over 99.95%. The production process of the tungsten heat shields in the sapphire growth furnaces is using tungsten powder by hydrostatic compaction and sintered at high temperatures. Tungsten heat shields used in sapphire growth furnaces can be made by hot rolling and cold rolling.
