What is the Tungsten heat shield?
The tungsten heat shield is to maintain the temperature inside the tungsten crucible and prevent external personnel from being harmed. The tungsten heat shield is made of sheets purity above 99.95%. The production process of the tungsten heat shields in the sapphire growth furnaces is using tungsten powder by hydrostatic compaction and high-temperature sintering. Tungsten heat shields used in sapphire growth furnaces can be made by hot roll and cold roll.
